MCKENZIE BRIDGE, Oregon (STPNS) -- LEABURG: McKenzie Fire & Rescue’s Leaburg Station construction project is beginning to take shape and starting to look like a fire station. Over the next several weeks the contractor will continue installing the framework for the exterior and interior.

Once the framework is complete several subcontractors will begin installing the plumbing, electrical and HVAC equipment. “As with any project the contractor has dealt with a few setbacks and delays,” notes Fire Chief Darren Bucich. “At this point the District is hoping to see substantial completion by the end of April.”
