WESTBROOK, Minnesota (STPNS) --     WWG — After having to crowd in Spring Week with the early graduation, school authorities switched back to a Snow Week format.

    Things got underway with   emcees Sean McCroskey and Steffanie Ankrum,  introducing the usher and usherette Tristan Joel, and Mady Johnson. After that the class attendants were introduced. Ninth grade - Adam Hass, and Emma Woelber; tenth grade - Mariah Olson, and Jacob Otto; eleventh grade - Tarynn Dallenbach, and Logan Weis.



    King and Queen candidates were: Dylan Albertson, Sheri Columbus, Alex Burns, Si Vue, Tyson  Berg, Pakou Vue, Hunter Gilb, Mai Her Xiong, Eli Gundermann Zua Her, Brody Williams and Shiney Her.

    Next as part of the Winter Music Show: Kaylee Mischke played “The Prayer” by Lorie Line on the piano. That was followed by Chue Yee Xiong singing “Just the Way You Are” by Bruno Mars.

    Coach Woelber gave a talk about the Girls Basketball program.

    Zuag Pai Her sang “Hero” by Mariah Carey.

    Then Deziree Koenig sang “Say Something” by Ian Axel, Chad Vaccanno,  and Mike Campbell. She  was accompanied by Kaylee Mischke.

    Cole Olson and Lane Anderson gave a talk about the wrestling program.

    After that Beth Danielowski sang “Sweater Weather” by The Neighborhood. She was accompanied by Joyce Madson. That was followed with Seng and Linda Xiong singing “Stay” by Rhianna.

    The boys senior basketball players talked about their season.

    Then the moment everyone was waiting for, the crowning of the 2014 Snow King and Snow Queen were crowned.

    Past Queen Kylee Jenniges placed the crown on Brody Williams’ head as the 2014 Snow King.

    Homecoming King Sean McCroskey placed the crown on Shiney Her’s  head as the new Snow Queen.

    Brody and Shiney then read the scroll proclaiming the beginning of Snow Week Activities.
