WESTBROOK, Minnesota (STPNS) -- Lowell H. Frank

    Funeral services for Lowell H. Frank were held Monday, May 5, 2014 at Grace Lutheran Church, Westbrook. A second service will be held in the Minneapolis area at a later date.  Interment will be held in Fort Snelling National Cemetery.  Online condolences may be sent via www.stephensfuneralservice.com. Memorials are preferred to the Cancer Society or American Heart Association in lieu of flowers.

    Lowell, 92, Westbrook, formerly of Wood Lake and Minneapolis, died Friday, May 2, 2014 after a brief illness.  

    Lowell was born and raised in Wood Lake, MN.  He farmed there before entering the service and subsequently moving to the Minneapolis area. He worked for the Milwaukee Road Railroad and did county assessing for Hennepin County.  Lowell was a proud WWII Navy veteran.  He owned Frank’s Tax Service in Minneapolis.  He and Peggie spent many years camping in their travel trailer in Monticello, MN and going to Golf Shores, AL.  They spent many summers in the Park Rapids area vacationing with family and friends.  Fishing was always a great passion while on these vacations.  He loved lighthouses because they always showed.

    Survivors include his son Jeremy Frank, Baton Rouge, LA, daughters: Lucinda Treischmann, Grand Marais, Penny (Rev. Dave) Danner, Westbrook; grandchildren: Andrea (Tom) Poon, Chad (Tanya) Mershon and Michael King all of Westbrook, Heather, David, Christopher, and Zachary Trieschmann all of the Duluth area, Monique (Gary) Lyle, O’Fallon, MS, Michelle (Peter) Browne, Plymouth, Heather (Charles) Green, Waconia, Marnie Leach, Minneapolis, Kelly (Dennis) Harper, David (Bethany) Danner and Sherilyn (David) Milazzo all of the Buffalo, NY area; 19 great grandchildren; sister-in-law: Ernal Nienaber, Plymouth;  nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  

    Preceding him in death were wife Peggie; brothers Virgil (Hazel) and Roger (Jeanette); infant daughter Laura Anne, daughters Rae and Fae, great granddaughter Crystal; great grandson Harrison.
