WESTBROOK, Minnesota (STPNS) --     WWG — Sunday afternoon thirty five  seniors will close out 13 years of education. Putting on gowns, mortar board caps, flowers will be pinned.  For most, it will be an emotional day for them  and their families as the seniors participate in their final assignment. It is the end of a long road, and the beginning of a new chapter in each of the their  lives.

    Ceremonies begin in the high school gymnasium at 2:00 p.m.

    The Prelude will be played by Nick Berg.

    The seniors will march in to the strains of Ployhar & Elgar’s Fanfare and Processional played by the WWG band. The band will then play the National Anthem, followed by the school song, Go U Northwestern.

    The senior slide show produced by Steffanie Ankrum and Shiney Her will then be shown.

    Senior speakers Steven Yang and Alexander Burns will give their reflections of their journey to graduation.

    The vocal number  will be performed by the high school choir. The high school band will then perform an instrumental selection.

    High Honor students will be introduced by Principal William Richards. Superintendent Loy Woelber will introduce the commencement speaker,

Beth Kleven.

    Mr. Richards will introduce the graduating class, and  school board chairperson, Marvin Kleven will present diploma’s to the graduating class.

    The class will then file out of the gymnasium and form a reception line outside the school, weather permitting.

    The class flower is the Royal Blue Tipped White Carnation.
