Veteran’s Memorial Park planned

This year, the Dovray American Legion and Dovray/Westbrook American Legion Auxiliary Post 632 have voted to build a small Veteran’s Memorial Park along the Main Street in Dovray.   They are convinced that the highest honor that can be bestowed on our military is to remember them.  Help is needed in achieving this undertaking.  They are appreciative of any donations/memorials given.    Their goal for this year is to at least purchase cement, flags, flag poles, and lighting and perhaps even some plants, trees or shrubs to help them to further the realization of their vision to give the honor and tribute that is so justly deserved to our local Veterans.  The meaning of “Service to Country” is near and dear to many hearts and they hope you consider their request to honor those who gave their best to this country.
