Graveside services for Mary Katherine McVenes will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 11, 2014 at the Walnut Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to Prairie Home Hospice. Online condolences may be sent at www.stephensfuneralservice.com.
Mary, 90, of Walnut Grove died Friday, May 30, 2014 at TRU Community Care Center in Louisville, Colorado.
Mary Katherine (Deuschle) McVenes was born July 7, 1923 in Yankton, South Dakota to Thomas and Emma Pearl (Themig) Deuschle.
Survivors include her son Terry and wife Deborah, two grandchildren Michael and Benjamin of Longmont, CO; one special cousin Pearl Aaker of Worthington; and many special friends in Walnut Grove, Tracy, and Marshall.
Preceding her in death were her parents and husband Robert.

Funeral services for Rebecca Ann Tanghe were held at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Tempe, AZ Tuesday June 24, 2014. A memorial service was held at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Marshall, MN on Monday June 30, 2014. On Wednesday, June 18, 2014 she died at the age of 56 in Tempe, AZ.
Rebecca was born on April 4, 1958 in Tracy, MN. Becky was raised by Richard and Pearl Van de Wiele in the small town of Walnut Grove, MN. She was raised on the farm with two brothers, Mike and Randy Van de Wiele. She cherished memories from her childhood, especially those of her grandmother, Gunhild “Grandma Gunny” Johnson.
Becky will be best remembered as a loving mother and a loyal friend. Much of her career was focused on administrative management, with her most recent position held at the ASU College of Law. Outside of work Becky spent much of her time volunteering with the local chapter of Girl Scouts and singing in the church choir. She enjoyed reading, cross word puzzles, cross-stitch and crocheting. Becky found her greatest joy in time spent with her grandchildren and at family gatherings. In her final days she spent time reminiscing over pictures and sharing stories with the family.
Survivors include her husband, Mark Tanghe; children: Lori Sanderson (Tim Sanderson), Amy Tanghe, Jud Beierman (Elizabeth Beierman), Amanda Martinez, Krista Walerius (Paul Walerius), Jasmine Stanfill (Chad Stanfill), Andrea Tanghe, Alicia Tanghe, Fernando (Jr) Tanghe and Alexis Tanghe; sixteen grandchildren, Logan and Brooke Sanderson; Alicia, Fernando, Alexis and Preston Tanghe, Leticia, Vanessa, Korina and Kira Martinez, Keiton, Kendall, Mya and Maverick Walerius, Camdyn and Blake Stanfill.
