New social studies teacher at WWG
WESTBROOK, Minnesota (STPNS) -- WWG — Jennifer Stevenson is the only new teacher on the staff at Westbrook Walnut Grove. Stevenson is a native of Woodbury, where her parents and 19 year old brother live. She is a graduate College of St. Benedict at St. Joseph, MN. She majored in Social Science with a minor in Secondary Education. She did her student teaching at North Junior High and Apollo High School in St. Cloud. Stevenson will be teaching social studies and Charger Learning Center at the Westbrook Walnut Grove Junior and Senior High School. The first quarter she will be teaching geography, American government, eighth grade reading and two section of Charger Learning Center. She lists her interests and hobbies as, theater, sewing, swing dancing, watching the Minnesota Twins, and more. Stevenson had an interesting experience of studying abroad in Kolkata, India for four months.
