Homecoming begins with coronation Monday night
WESTBROOK, Minnesota (STPNS) -- WWG — The WWG Student Council has put together a fun filled week for 2012 homecoming. The week will kickoff with Pajama Day on Monday. Monday evening at 7:30 in the high school auditorium, the homecoming king and queen will be crowned to officially open homecoming week. There will be skits, and coach and player pep talks. Tuesday super hero’s like Bat Man, Super Man and Spider Man will be lurking in the halls of the school. So Lex Luther and the Joker beware! Tuesday evening the Volleyball team will take on Fulda. After the Volleyball game there will be a Bon fire pep fest to cap off the night. Wednesday will be Boy Girl Switch day. From 9:15 to 10:00 a.m. there will be a pig wrestling contest. Starting at 11:15 the National Guard Climbing Wall will be available for each grade to take a turn on the wall. Thursday is Animal Print day with all sorts of animals cruising the halls of WWG. Friday afternoon will feature the homecoming parade at 2:00 p.m. with class floats, and homecoming royalty riding on cars and trucks. After the parade there will be a pep fest at 2:30 p.m. The Charger football team will square off against Renville County West at 7:00 p.m. The week will be capped off with the annual homecoming dance at the Westbrook Community Center from 9:30 to 12:00 for grades 9 through 12.
