A Cow Who Can Really DeliverGrandstand Club Cow Pie Fund-raiser
GRAY, Maine (STPNS) -- The Patriot Grandstand Club Youth Football Teams raised money for the organization by selling Cow Pie Bingo tickets. Cow Pie Bingo took place on Saturday, October 17th, at the New Gloucester Community Fair. The Cow was a little shy at first, but made several friends with the bystanders who were hoping they were the lucky recipients of the $250 cash prize. The allotted time of 2 hours for the cow proved to be just enough, as at 4:00 pm, she delivered the pie. The cash prize winner was Regina Garcia of New Gloucester. Congratulations to Regina and her family. A big "Thank You" to Tim Bartlett, who supplied the cow, and thanks to all the players, coaches, parents, and especially those who purchased tickets to help the Youth Football Teams with this fundraiser. The money will go towards helping the Youth Football Teams grow and purchase the necessary equipment to make this program a success.
