WESTBROOK, Minnesota (STPNS) --     tracy — Do you have a chronic condition? Or a condition  insurance doesn’t cover, or have you been told you have to live with it? Then maybe the health services Charles Reinert offers at his business could help you.

Charles Reinert’s business Helping  to Heal is located in downtown Tracy at 192 3rd Street. Reinert has a PHD in Physics and taught physics  for 30 years before opening his clinic.

Reinert said, “There are many conditions that western medicine does not always do well with.” Among them are weight loss, addictions, depression, and other emotional issues. “We deal with   the physical aspects, then we treat the emotional condition when needed,”said Reinert.

One of the things used is Bio-feedback. A therapist uses a computer which has instruments that can be hooked up to a patient.  It will evaluate the various toxins within the  body to tell more about a condition a person may have.

With the exception of Acupuncture all of the therapies used in the clinic are non- invasive.

Reinert is trained in hypnosis to treat a number of conditions, including addictions, weight loss, and other chronic conditions. He uses it to explore or find out what may be the cause of emotional and physical problems. “Under  hypnosis we can ask questions that may reveal the source of a persons condition,” Reinert said.

One of the therapist working at the clinic is Josh Revermann. Revermann is the only licensed acupunturist in the area with a masters degree in acupuncture.

Revermann said, “I generally use it to treat physical ailments — sometimes the injury can also be cause by emotional aspects. After the physical  side is taken care of, we can treat the emotional problems.”

Acupuncture is used to treat a variety of conditions or ailments including but not limited to: back and joint pain, tennis elbow, knee pain, chronic headaches such as migraines or tension. It also can help with menstrual  pain and infertility, for infertility, couples are generally treated together.

Another area the clinic deals with is Digital Infrared Thermal Imaging.  This technology can be used to detect breast cancer much earlier than traditional mammography.

A certified Thermographer will be at the  clinic on Thursday, March 18.

In addition to these services the clinic offers a wide variety of massage therapies and has three licensed therapists available.
