SOCORRO, New Mexico (STPNS) -- Oct. 15 An officer stopped a driver at 5:20 p.m. and a check showed he was driving on a suspended and revoked driver?s license. He was arrested and taken to the Socorro County Detention Center. Oct. 17 An officer was called at 6 p.m. to a residence at Second and Elm streets on a report of a drunk male. Drunk dude was taken into custody for 12-hour detoxification and charged with public nuisance and possession of marijuana. Oct. 18 ? An officer was called to St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church at 9 a.m. where a drunk was urinating in public. He was arrested. During booking, the drunk kicked the window out of the police unit. ? An officer was called at 10:30 a.m. to Oak and Fourth streets on a report of a man lying in the middle of the street not breathing. He was, in fact, breathing and arrested for public drunkenness. Charges have been filed. ? An officer was called to a domestic disturbance at Fourth and Oak streets at 3 a.m. where a vehicle had been damaged by rocks, chunks of cement and sticks of wood while a man was inside. The man refused treatment by Emergency Medical Services. Two suspects have been charged in the case. Oct. 21 An officer stopped a vehicle at Main Street and Highway 60 at noon. The driver was charged with no insurance and no registration. The car was impounded and a passenger was arrested on an outstanding Magistrate Court warrant. Oct. 22 Officers responded at 6:30 p.m. to a four wheeler accident involving two underage drivers on Highway 169. A young girl was injured and taken to Socorro General Hospital. No charges have been filed. Oct. 23 An officer was called at 3:40 p.m. to pick up a drunk woman walking on Highway 169. She was located and arrested for walking while drunk. Oct. 26 ? Officers responded at 4:30 p.m. to a residential burglary at Fifth Street and Kelly Road. Evidence of two suspects was found at the scene. DNA and fingerprints were sent to the crime lab for results. The case is open pending those results and arrest of the suspects. ? An officer responded at 9 p.m. to a vehicle rollover on Ash Street. Two underage girls were injured and taken by private car to Socorro General Hospital. Oct. 27 An officer recovered a car stolen from Alamo at 5 p.m. It was located on 10th Street and charges were filed against the suspect.
