Kenneth Allen Knutson, 32
LEROY, Minnesota (STPNS) -- Funeral services for Kenneth Allen Knutson were held Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at the LeRoy Evangelical Lutheran Church in LeRoy, MN with Reverend Thomas Kolden officiating. Burial was in the Union Cemetery in Pleasant Grove, MN.
Kenneth A. Knutson, age 32, of LeRoy, died Thursday evening June 26, 2008 as a result of a motorcycle accident near Wykoff.
Kenneth Allen Knutson was born on October 29, 1975 in Rochester, MN to Randy Christopherson and Wanda Knutson. On August 12, 2006 Kenneth married Amanda Loven at the LeRoy Evangelical Lutheran Church in LeRoy, MN.
Kenny attended several area schools and later went to Motorcycle Mechanic Institute in Phoenix, AZ in 1998 where he graduated top of his class in February of 2000 with perfect attendance. He then worked for Engelhart's in Madison, Wisconsin as a mechanic for two years before returning home. For the past 4 ½ years he has been employed at McNeilus in McIntire and Riceville, IA. Kenny enjoyed riding his motorcycles, playing guitar, music, fishing and spending time with friends and family.
Kenneth is survived by his wife, Amanda of LeRoy; mother, Wanda Knutson-Wesseling of Lime Springs, IA; father, Randy Christopherson of Hayfield, MN; two sisters, Heather Knutson and Kimberly Lawson both of Lime Springs, IA; niece, Kaitlyn Finke; nephew, Andrew Loven; maternal grandmother, Betty Knutson of Marion; paternal grandmother, Doris Hanson of Rochester; father and mother-in-law, James (Beverly) Loven of LeRoy, three sisters-in-law, Martha Loven of Eyota, Jessica Loven and Rebecca Loven, both of LeRoy, and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Kenneth Knutson; paternal grandfather, LeVerne Christopherson; one aunt, Cheryl Kent; two uncles, Allan "Yank" Knutson and Donald Knutson; and two cousins, Nicklas Mogren and Madison Panek.
