KINGFIELD, Maine (STPNS) -- This cow moose and her two yearlings were seen last week on West Kingfield Road in Kingfield down on their knees licking salt off the road. Salt is a much needed element in their diets. As the photographer approached, the mother moose rose to her feet as if to keep an eye on her young ones.
